Have you ever had the opportunity to sit with an oracle? It’s magnificently fun (even if this one is fake). This man, er, statue guy, was standing bone still except for an occasional eye movement. You drop a dollar in his magic column and he elegantly moves to hand you a message “from the oracle”. I just wanted a picture. I waddled up, asked if he would mind getting a photo with me… without a word his eeballs twitched over dramatically at his fancy column. Go figure. I obviously scrounged up the cash.
Thats all body paint and fabric, cool huh?
I believe it was the bronzed breathing replica of Paul Revere just to the left of the Oracle… I didn’t get another photo though – I really wanted to save my money for lunch.
This was in Boston, at the street market, a very fun place!
