I met Ben Huh a couple months ago, one of the owners of I CAN HAZ CHEEZBURGER. The site is usually a site about silly cats but I think they’ve added the penguins just to prove life isn’t happy when you’re always surrounded by hairballs. While we were chatting I also grabbed a genuine ICHC Tshirt- Yes’em dee dee doo! All that, a bag-o-chips AND I got the t-shirt to prove it!

Can you see me on the penguin measuring scale?

So I made be the smallest of the species.. what I like in size, I hope I make up for in personality.

This chart shows all 17 species of penguins and how they compare in size to eachother. I took this photo at the Sedgwick County Zoo in Wichita, Kansas. More fun moments from here later, I had a great time at this zoo.

What is your favorite penguin? I love the macaroni.. mostly, I think, because I don’t have “hair” that fabulous!

How this penguin measures up

I’ve met quite a few penguins in the last year or so, but it was recently brought to my attention by a reader comment that I don’t talk about penguin much. Really I save that for my penguin fan site, Nothing But Penguins. NBP also features all the penguin products I can find… I hope this doesn’t mean I’m selling out – really I got tired of looking in 900 places for the penguin things I was hoping to find so I figured other penguin collectors were too.  However, for the sake of trying to help spread the work about our fabulous animal kingdom, I took a picture with this African Penguin plaque.. hope you feel educated.

The Sign says they eat fish and squid, they live in oceans, coastlines and islands along South African (thus the name). If you’d like to learn even more, here are some fabulous tidbits of information about African penguins.

Yes, it’s all my fault. I slap my face up on the vehicle back window and now everyone wants to stop and say hi. See up in the back window, that’s Mr. Officer giving the man behind us a ticket. Lucky him, (the policeman) he got a twofer that day.

I didn’t have the guts to ask if he wanted to take a picture with me.. so this is going to have to do.

Lucky for the camera girl the officer was in a good mood. We didn’t have our proof of insurance or currant registration with us – why would we? We never get pulled over! Of course we’re never speeding either. Really dumb… We were trying to make it home before my friend got out of school… but instead we got pulled over right in front of the school so he could wave at us when his bus drove by. Brilliant eah?

If I were driving, we wouldn’t have had this problem – I can’t fly, but no one ever said penguins can’t drive! Watch for a photo this April from the courthouse

A while back I was socializing with some socializers when I ran across these two super friendly peoples… Angie A. Swartz and Alan Underkofler are two fabulous individuals doing some amazing things!

Lack of controlling his poop. Really it was a weird hard candy coated treat – yeah, I ate one – that’s it to ya?!

I know what you’re thinking now, “hey, where’s the video, that would be hilarious!”. No it wouldn’t! I’d be the one to have to stand there and watch the guy and film it and then watch him again while I set it up — I’m not all that into poop!

Pooping Penguins

Almost brand new… I finally have a brand new clean body, yay me! I’d like to say it’s because i’ve switched to an entirely organic, natural, non-preservative diet. No way is that true- I love my junk food!

I’m embarrassed to say, I was getting so nappy and grimy I couldn’t look at myself anymore. Not to mention there are all these new penguins coming out from the creative woodwork, I didn’t want to me the old bum in the crowd. That little circle thing, I was wearing a pink ribbon a while back and when it fell of the camera girl thought it would be cool to glue a mini button on. When that fell off I was stuck wearing a dirty olf circle of paper… no clue what she was thinking making me walk around like that!

But now… now I am shiny and new like the first day I was born. I’m just about a year old now, so this is somewhat of a birthday present to me… gotta treat yourself sometimes, right? (I’m heading to Vegas today too.. woo hoo!)

I gladly accept gifts any day of the year, if you’re curious.
