The penguin at Affiliate Summit, Boston Part 1

September 25th, 2008

Last month I went to an internet mareketing convention called Affiliate Summit. I had the opportunity to meet with and talk to a number of great people. Here are some of them…

We arrived in Boston and within moments of landing on the shore I met Todd Farmer (left). One of the smiliest, jolly type guys I’ve ever crossed paths with (I’m not sure “jolly” would be his first choice, but I like it). He turned out to definitely be a penguin fan, thank goodness!

Then there was Stephanie from Andy Rodriguez Consulting, such a fantastically sweet woman. (upper right) She’s absolutely adorable! She and Kim Rowley (whom I met in Vegas) had a lot of fun running around the conference with their smiley bells on - this photo was after a long night of “socializing” with adult beverages - fun!

Later, I made a point to find Melissa Salas, In January I watched her win an award but I didn’t get a chance to meet her. So this time around I was determined to get a photo.

First we have Bill and his daughter Jill from Beaches and Towns ( OC-USA.com) (top left) . Then there is Trisha from PSPrint.com (top right). She and the camera girl have been chatting for a few months online, but this is the first chance we had to meet her in person, such a fantastic lady! Then there were a few guys we crossed paths with. Both stopped by our breast cancer awareness fund raising booth, so I took the opportunity to snap a few shots. On the left is Andrew from UltimateCoupons.com -  We didn’t talk too extensively, but I can tell you, (if it is just darn obvious) he’s one happy guy. On the right is Dominic with Advertising.com. We actually met the night before at a social event, but the lighting was awful, so I asked him to stop by and say hi at our booth… he’s a good man!

Check back tomorrow, I have tons more to share with you!

Yes, that picture of me is definitely “after a long night of “socializing” with adult beverages”, and I hate to admit I don’t even remember getting that picture taken.

Hah! Yeah I put on my super happy cheesy grin there for ya. It was great meeting you, and of course, the penguin too!
