Penguin at the Auto Show in NY

A couple weeks ago I went with a couple of friends to the auto show in New York City. I had a blast!

Just coming up on the Javits Center where the auto show was held.

Mini Coopers are the coolest!

Oh hot! Can’t go wrong with a Porsche, especially  one this fabulously yellow!

Next time you have engine problems.. look under your hood, it might just be me planning a party.

Penguin Grabs a Jamba Juice

Oh yes, I love Jamba Juice! I don’t live very close to any of their shops, so it’s an extra special treat for me.

I’f you have no idea what I’m going on about… Jamba Juice is a fruit smoothie shop - healthy slushies. You can even get grass and vitamin boosters mixed in. Who wants to drink grass??  If you look very carefully, you can see the pans of (wheat) grass in the photo above… just to the left of logo.

They’re simple delightful. May favorite these days is Banana Berry. Not very adventurous of me - but I love love love it!

The penguin on a pile of cheese

Cheese, Cheese, oh glorious cheese! This pile of cheese happens to be at a Whole Foods grocery in Colorado. Just standing here gives me warm fuzzies… yum!

I have to admit, I am a little afraid of the goat cheese in a jar, but it did make a good standing spot. I’m a huge fan of Brie — and of course cheese cake. Don’t argue, if it has cheese in the name it counts!

Penguins and Grease Monkeys

Well not really grease monkeys I don’t even know what a grease monkey is. I went to get the car an oil change at Grease Monkey… but really, aren’t monkeys supposed to be the trouble makers? The guys that get into everything and mess things up.. nearly a gremlin without the crazy appitite? Do you really want a monkey messin’ with your car?

Ok, just kidding. I really do love Grease Monkey - they take fantastic care of the car!

I enjoyed the peace an quite and rest away from the computer. Amazing how a 30 minute break can do a brain some good.

Penguin loves bubbles

Bubbles is not a cat nor a showgirl… you know, bubbles. The kind you buy in a little plastic bottle and blow through a little plastic wand. Oh yes, I do indeed LOVE bubbles! I think today is a great day to pull out the bubbles…. so grab yourself a bottle too, take some pictures of the bubble fun and share it with me!

Maybe we can do a bubble spring dance and it will help get the sunshine out a little more consistently.

Penguins, Saturday and Beer

It’s Saturday is most parts of the world… right? So I figured now is as good a time as any to grab a beer, sit back and relax.

I’m sorry, I couldn’t wait for you to grab your own… I was thirsty! Type of beer: Fat Tire from New Belgium Brewing- of course! The paper behind me? That’s a kid’s menu from the Outback restaurant - yeah, I like to color and do kids crosswords while I sip my beer!

Yes, I am definitely over 21, that’s all you need to know. Nosey much?

Penguin sees the Empire State Building

Back in NYC and loving it! Until now I’ve never seen the Empire State Building - wow! I tried to climb to the top and get one of those cool King Kong shots… apparently the size of one’s teeth does matter, dang!

The Penguin and Good People Day

Gary Vaynerchuk says April 3rd is Good People Day, how can I argue with such a cool day? I love good people. My travels are inspired by Good People, motivated by my desire to continually meet Good People and gosh darnit, without Good People, I would be nothing, seriously, my entire existance is based on my love for the Good People around the world! - and if that ain’t the truth, I give up!

If you’d like to get a sampling of the Good People I’ve had the honor to me, just browse the People section. But that’s only a small percentage of the humans I know with gold in their heart.

I challenge you to continue the shout out about Good People!

Try it - One Good Thing for just one person and see how it can spread. One Good Thing! Then challenge them to do the same. Take just a moment to let at least one person know that they are Good People!
