Spring break is over, the fun has come to an end and now it’s back to school… but really, how much less fun is school when it’s preschool???
I keep forgetting to bring my coat though. Why do I of all penguins need one anyway?? I’m more concerned about the kids over there eating the glue.

Little Tykes soccer has officially started and I went to watch. I forgot to bring my video camera… it’s hilarious! These kids are 4 and 5 years old.. they run around in a cluster chasing after the ball so they can kick it out of bounds. lol - I love it!

and YES, I do have a favorite t-shirt for soccer - of course I would

Well, we waddle, really. But check out this guy I met… I didn’t catch his name. I thought it would be even more rude.. not knowing him and just walking up asking for a photo but not asking for a ride - that’s not very polite of me!
I forget what these bike carriages are called, but you can pay the man and he’ll cycle you around downtown - looks like fun. I was with 5 other friends, we would have been a bit too heavy I think. Love the color too.

Or at the least the cost of it. No idea what the actual price of gas is now days…
I just know that the meter tops off at 75.00 per pre-approved credit card. Don’t blame it on what I drive… including me and my 3 clones we’re a family of 8 and need the boat of a vehicle. Nope, no dogs.. just people and penguins traveling in total harmony.
Ok, ok, do the math, that’s approx $3.18 a gallon, definitely not as horrid as other parts of the country. This gas pump is in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
Camera girl speaks: Wow do I miss my 86′ Tercel! I even drove a Ford Festiva at one point… I could drive across country on a pack of gum in that thing! Yet now I can probably fit both of them in what I’m driving. I’ve upgraded to bus driver.
Regardless… The youngest family member isn’t happy about the cost of gas either! Fit throwing isn’t going to work now is it.
Go ahead, take a guess what the camera girl is driving. I can give you a hint — it’s a fabulous shade of chocolate.

Have you ever had dippin’ dots? They’re tiny little balls of ice cream (or fake ice cream, I’m not sure) that you eat out of a bowl with a spoon - it’s like eating tiny clods of edible sand - but much more yummy. You can find them, usually, at sporting events and the circus, amusement parks, and similar places.
I’d never had them before… so I played it safe and got some Vanilla. Quite tasty!

I went to IHOP (International House Of Pancakes) for dinner tonight and to my delight they have a special Dr. Seusse would be proud of…
Horton Pancakes with Green Eggs and Ham. It was DELICIOUS!
Seriously, it was so much yummier than it looks. The ham wasn’t green but the eggs were… its scrambled eggs with creamed spinach and tasted just like quiche.. mmmmMMMmm!
Look at this delightful tower-o-cakes. It’s buttermilk pancakes with boysenberry and strawberry syrups topped with candy sprinkles and a tasty lil’ lolli.

but no sam-i-am
so very tasty
and our waitress was hasty

I went and saw a movie the other day, Horton Hears a Who - quite cute if I might say so… except that darn kangaroo - she’s awful!
Anyway, I tried to get a photo with the movie playing in the background, but I didn’t want to make my fellow movie goers mad. Have you ever tried to take a picture in the dark without a flash? Doesn’t work so well.
So here’s the best I can do.. a mysterious photo in kind of the dark.. for the preview of Kung Fu Panda
I’ll definitely try to see this one, it looks pretty funny!
